IGNOU has started another new programme which shall be on offer through Open Distance Learning (ODL) Mode from January 2021 Session.
The programme name is “Diploma in Value Education (DPVE)” and it will be offered under the School of Extension and Development Studies (SOEDS) of IGNOU.
Objective of the Programme
- To orient the target group of teachers (mostly elementary) for integrating values in their transactional process of teaching and learning.
- To generate awareness and interest for inculcating positive values among teachers, professionals, students, parents and the community.
- To develop awareness and societal responsibility among NGOs, Government servants and civil society organizations
